Overseer Freddrick Andre Hardy was born September 18, 1972 to Russell and Massie Hardy.   He is the second of four children.  At the age of ten (10) he accepted Christ as Savior and joined Town Creek Baptist Church in Tyler, Alabama.  He became the Minister of Music at Town Creek at the age of fourteen (14) and at the age of seventeen (17) he accepted his call to preach the Gospel, even though he was still a senior in high school. On April 29, 1990 he received his license to preach and on January 12, 1991 he was ordained at Town Creek Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Elder James Lee Baity.

Overseer Hardy graduated from Southside High School in 1990 and after graduation attended Wallace Community College in Selma, AL for one year.  Feeling the need to study God’s Word more, he transferred to Selma University and in May of 1996 obtained a B. A. degree in Theology. He is presently pursuing his Doctoral of Episcopal Studies at Harvard University.

After being ordained, Overseer Hardy traveled as an Evangelist preaching the Gospel throughout the United States.  Being led by the Lord, he united with Helping Hands Bible Ministries in 1991 under the leadership of Pastor Ralph Edwards, Sr.  Pastor Edwards took him under his wings and helped him develop the gift of preaching and teaching through intense study of the scriptures.

In October 1992, at the age of nineteen (19), Overseer Hardy was called to pastor St. James Baptist Church (Holt’s Crossing) in Montgomery, AL and remained there as pastor until February 1999.  During this time the church membership grew from 50 to more than 600 worshipers.

On September 13, 1997, Overseer Hardy married the lovely, Selena Antalan.  Two children have blessed this union, a son Freddrick A. Hardy, Jr. (born August 22, 1998) and a daughter Victoria Divine Hardy (born November 23, 2000).

On March 8, 1999, the Lord birthed into the spirit of this man of God the vision to begin a new ministry, which would be called: “Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church.”  Faith Full Gospel Baptist Church had its first worship service on April 4, 1999 and 111 persons came into covenant with the ministry.  Faith is considered to be the fastest growing church in the city of Montgomery.

The physical location of the ministry initially was a storefront located in downtown Montgomery.  The Lord blessed this ministry with an actual church and property conducive to live out the vision at a new location on April 28, 2002 and our growth in the Word of God and in souls has increased steadily.  The church seeks to teach people how to take God at His Word with this motto:

“It takes Faith to step out on nothing and believe something is there”.
